Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-10-08
These terms govern your use of MindQuest, a cognitive skills assessment and puzzle service provided by Front Space SHPK, a company registered in the Republic of Albania ("Front Space", "we", "us"), on the website mindquest.frontspace.io and in the MindQuest apps.
By creating an account, starting an assessment or using the service in any other way, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use MindQuest.
1. What MindQuest is
MindQuest offers an adaptive reasoning assessment for ages 6 and over, a daily puzzle (Daily Zip), and tools that let schools, companies and other organizations run the assessment for a group of people.
MindQuest is a screening and educational tool. It is not a clinical, diagnostic or certified intelligence test, it is not administered by a psychologist, and a score from it is not a diagnosis. Section 9 explains what a score does and does not mean.
2. Who may use MindQuest
An account can be created by a person aged 13 or over.
- Children under 13 do not have accounts of their own. A parent or legal guardian may add a child as a profile on their own account, from age 6, and is responsible for the child’s use of MindQuest.
- If you are between 13 and the age of digital consent in your country, you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to your use of MindQuest.
- If you use MindQuest on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
3. Your account
You can create an account with an email address and password, or, where offered, by signing in with Google. You must give accurate information, in particular your date of birth: it decides which version of the assessment you take and which age group your result is compared with.
Your date of birth cannot be changed after it has been saved. If it was entered wrongly, write to mindquest@frontspace.io and we will correct it.
You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done with your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
4. Taking an assessment
To keep results meaningful and fair:
- Your first completed assessment in an age band is your official result. Later attempts in the same band are practice and are labelled as such.
- Questions are chosen and scored on our server. The assessment is timed, and leaving it repeatedly may end it without a score.
- Take the assessment yourself, without help, notes, other people, tools or software.
- We may mark a result as not scored, or remove it, if the answers show it could not be a genuine attempt — for example answers at the level of random guessing, or signs of tampering.
5. Organizations
An organization (such as a school or employer) can be given an access code with a number of seats. A person who joins with the code takes the assessment as a participant of that organization.
If you join an organization, your name, age, results and answers are shared with that organization. The organization decides how it uses them and is responsible for having a lawful reason to ask you to take the assessment and for telling you why.
Organizations agree not to use a MindQuest result as the only basis for a decision with legal or similarly significant effects on a person, such as admission, hiring or dismissal. Terms for payment, seats and support are agreed separately with each organization.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, record, publish or share the assessment questions, answers or explanations;
- use bots, scripts or any automated means to access the service, take assessments or collect content;
- try to read or change other people’s data, to alter scores, or to get around the server’s checks;
- reverse-engineer, disrupt or overload the service, or try to break its security;
- create accounts in someone else’s name or with false details, or let someone else take an assessment as you;
- use MindQuest for anything unlawful or harmful.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and remove the results involved.
7. Intellectual property
MindQuest, including its questions, question generators, scoring methods, puzzles, design, text, logos and the Front Space and MindQuest names, belongs to Front Space and is protected by intellectual property law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose while you follow these terms. Nothing else is licensed to you.
Your results belong to you. You may download, print and share your own report.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep MindQuest available and correct, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, update the questions and the scoring, or stop offering a part of the service. Where a change significantly affects you, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
9. What a score means
Your score is an estimate produced by MindQuest’s own scoring. It is weighted by how hard each question was and read against the standard set for your age band — a standard designed from the test itself, not yet measured from a representative population. The ± range shown with a score is where your true score most likely falls; shorter tests and very high or very low results have a wider range. Scores above 140 are shown as 140+.
A score can be affected by tiredness, distraction, language, familiarity with this kind of question and many other things. It describes one sitting, not a fixed quality of a person.
10. No warranty
MindQuest is provided “as is” and “as available”, for education and personal interest. To the extent the law allows, Front Space gives no warranty that a score is accurate, complete or suitable for any particular purpose, and is not responsible for any decision taken on the basis of one — about a person’s schooling, employment, health or anything else. If you need an assessment that carries those guarantees, ask a qualified professional.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Front Space is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from the use of a result. Our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or €50 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using MindQuest at any time and delete your account yourself, under Account → Delete account, or ask us to delete it by writing to mindquest@frontspace.io. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that has been inactive for a long period after we have tried to contact you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using MindQuest after a change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can close your account.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Albania, including its consumer protection law. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live. Disputes that cannot be resolved between us are decided by the competent courts of the Republic of Albania. We would like to hear about any problem first at mindquest@frontspace.io, and will try to resolve it with you.
